Our Initiatives

Five ways we turn empty spaces into neighborhood galleries.

From vacant storefront windows on High Street to art sessions inside community care centers, we keep creative culture active right where people walk every day. No permits from distant gallery boards, just real canvas and local walls.

We fund working artists directly through micro-grants for materials, coordinate annual street art walks, and partner with property owners who want creative life brought back to their empty ground floors.

Empty Storefronts

Turning dark shop windows into free weekend galleries.

When a retail lease sits empty for months, we step in with local property owners to transform glass windows into lit exhibition spaces. Passersby stop on their evening walks to look at original paintings and photography without ever stepping inside a museum.

Each pop-up runs for four weeks, giving neighborhood artists independent wall space and putting local art directly in the path of everyday commuters and grocery shoppers.

Street Culture

Annual street festivals and neighborhood art walks across Ohio cities.

Every summer we block off historic brick streets for open-air exhibitions, live printmaking, and night markets that bring thousands of residents together under string lights.

Community Access

Hands-on creative sessions inside hospitals and shelters.

Senior Studios

Painting classes in local care facilities

We bring easels, brushes, and professional grade pigments directly to community rooms, giving residents regular studio time and social painting sessions.

Hospital Workshops

Open studio hours for patients and families

Weekly drop-in sessions provide a welcoming creative outlet for patients and staff alike, using tactile materials that encourage relaxed conversation and making.

Direct Support

Murals on historic brick and micro-grants for working artists.

Material Micro-Grants

Unrestricted financial support for local visual artists needing supplies, framing, and studio space for upcoming independent exhibitions.

Community Mural Projects

We connect independent painters and muralists with local businesses and municipal advocates to sponsor large-scale public walls in Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.
